Founded in 1955, Simo Motor has nearly 60 years of motor production and sales experience. In January 2004, the state-owned Xi’an Motor Factory was restructured into Xi’an Simo Motor (Group) Co., Ltd., and in October 2009, it was renamed Xi’an Taifu Simo Motor Co., Ltd. The company is located at No. 159, Mingguang Road, Xi’an National Economic & Technological Development Zone, covering 300 acres with a building area of 110,000 m², including the largest joint factory in Asia.

In recent years, the company has strengthened its management foundation while adopting advanced domestic and international production management practices, focusing on key technical processes, inspection equipment, and digital processing centers. A batch of specialized, high-efficiency, and digitalized equipment has been added, further improving the company’s technological level.

Simo Motor offers 31 major product series, over 1,800 varieties, and more than 19,500 specifications, ranging from 0.35 kW to 19,000 kW, under the registered trademark “Simo”, meeting international, national, industry, and corporate standards. Its products are widely used in coal, petroleum, mining, metallurgy, railways, transportation, chemical, agriculture, water conservancy, aviation, and marine sectors, and it is a designated motor supplier for the Ministry of Railways.
