Company Development History – Simo Motor Group

October 1955: Establishment of the state-owned Xi’an Electric Motor Factory.
August 1962: Formation of the Xi’an Zhongxing Electric Motor Factory (Joint Public-Private Ownership).
March 1965: The DC motor workshop from Dalian Electric Motor Factory relocated to Xi’an.
September 1966: The factory was renamed Local State-Owned Xi’an Zhongxing Electric Motor Factory, also known as Xi’an Electric Motor Factory.
October 1993: Establishment of the Xi’an Electric Motor General Factory Electromechanical Sales Department.
December 1996: Xi’an Electric Motor Factory absorbed the bankrupt original Xi’an Dongfang Electric Motor Factory.
September 1999: Xi’an Electric Motor Factory incorporated the bankrupt original Xi’an Electric Motor Factory Third Branch.
January 2004: Xi’an Electric Motor Factory was restructured into Xi’an Simo Motor (Group) Co., Ltd.
April 2004: Xi’an Electric Motor General Factory Electromechanical Sales Department restructured as Xi’an Simo Motor Sales Company.
July 2006: Xi’an Simo Motor (Group) Co., Ltd. relocated from Hujiamian Cross to No. 159 Mingguang Road.
2009: Through equity transfer, the company officially became Xi’an Taifu Simo Motor Co., Ltd.
December 2011: Xi’an Electric Motor General Factory Electromechanical Sales Department ranked top in sales performance, awarded “Excellent Distributor” by Xi’an Taifu Simo Motor Co., Ltd.
December 2012: Sales performance remained outstanding, and the department was again honored as “Excellent Distributor” by Xi’an Taifu Simo Motor Co., Ltd.
